Manchester Community Schools' Policy #8940-R "Student Records" pertains to the release of directory information regarding students.  The policy also provides parents the opportunity to notify the school to prohibit the release of any or all of the listed information.  The federal "No Child Left Behind" legislation requires schools to release student information to military recruiters, unless parents have directed the school to not release.  If you choose to not have your child's directory information released as per this policy, please deliver a written objection to the counseling office.
